It wasn't so far in the past that the mythical (or was it?) Tatiana's Underground existed nowhere beyond the mind of my occasionally demented muse. It was then that a bolt of dire karma struck near the neighborhood where my studio is located. I took this as a sign from the deep and forged a series of abstract paintings which I christened "Tatiana's Underground".

This was big fun. It allowed me to ease away from some of the slightly more serious ideas that might have been creeping into my career. At the same time, my work was selling fast, the ideas were fermenting and the good times were rolling!   (read more...)
